8/7/09 - Water does not evaporate at the same rate here. I had a glass of water last night, it left a ring on the desk. The next day after I got home from work the ring was still there.

5/29/09 - Since we live in Government Housing our yard is a free for all. Today I came home to a group of men in the yard making baskets from palm tree leaves and a guy up one of the trees knocking out the coconuts. I went out to say hello and decided to hang out and watch the goings on. In doing so they peeled 3 coconuts for me(which is quite a task if you do not know the technique). I think I will make a cake!

5/19/09 - Our 2 year wedding anniversary!

5/18/09 - Kick Boxing in American Samoa + two fans set on slow speed and no AC = a good workout

5/17/09 - We finally used our Kayak and we didn't even tip over!

4/20/09 - Sweeping the floor here is not like sweeping anywhere else I have been in my life. You cannot just simply sweep and go on with your day, nope, you get so sweaty and nasty in the process; you have to go ahead and clean the whole house or take a shower. Oh how I miss Air Conditioning!

4/20/09 - Our furniture has termites. They make a mess. I wish they would just finish off the sofa so I could ask for a new one.
